Has anyone tried cooking the Chorizo and Butterbean Stew? Unfortunately I have a mild phobia of beans - butterbeans being the scariest of all bean, so I don't think I'll be trying that one! I'm sure it's yummy for non-butterbean phobes though.

I really want to have a go at the Chorizo and Butterbean one. I am hoping I can make a better job of it than Ciaran!!!

all is not lost lauren, you can easily substitute a tin of chick peas for the butterbeans, now come up with another excuse!

Do chickpeas have the same sort of texture inside that butterbeans do though? Maybe I'll give it a try anyway. I accidentally ate a hidden kidney bean the other day (the 2nd worst type of bean) and it wasn't so bad afterall.

I am determined to try this recipe - and with chickpeas like jon suggested. Thing is, it's about a mile and a half walk to Sainsbury's so I need to mentally prepare. That's why my diet usually only consists of things that Spar stocks which is very little.

I can cook, well, sort of! I can do microwave stuff, and curry, and these dead nice spicy potatoes, and scrambled egg, and toast, and cheese and onion pasties, and apple pies, and bread, and cakes. The thing is, sometimes I'm a bit blonde! The first time I tried the spicy fried potatoes I sort of just chucked them in with the spicy stuff without er, COOKING them first! That was the same day I got chilli in my eye!
