I watched Bill Bailey again the other day and it reminded me... I know the gallery found the theramin annoying on the live ages ago, but will it ever be brought back on a recorded show? I thought it was quite an interesting addition to the kit even if it's not a 'normal' ghost-hunting gadget. If it got boring you could always make some music with it like Bill does.

It's a musical instrument that you can play without touching. It's like a box with one or two aerials/antennas, and when an energy field (usually a human but potential ghosts in the case of MH) goes near it, it makes a sound.
That's not a particularly technical explanation though, I think it's something to do with radio waves. Not that that clarifies things.
I really want one. I might buy one off ebay!
