Well, I survived. We did mess up a bit but the show was so long I'm sure we're long forgotten by now. The rugby boys (who were modelling in one section) thought it would be good to get drunk before they went on and they totally ruined one of the bits of the show apparently. One of them looked like he was going to be sick and nearly dropped the girl he was lifting! Thank god it's over.

Someone needs to invent a machine whereby you sing a bit of a song and it immediately tells you what it's called and who it's by. I've been humming about 10 seconds of a song over and over again for 3 days and it's driving me mad. What's worse is that the one word I can think that was in it was either spanish or portuguese so I can't even search for that word cos I don't know *exactly* what it was. Also someone needs to invent a machine that makes you concentrate on one thing until you've done it. All distractions get zapped away and you get your work done in a fraction of the time. They'd have to be careful not to zap away creativity though. It's be a bit tricky to be honest. Maybe I should do my work and stop thinking about an impossible concentration machine.

Then there would be no procrastination...i would be lost without it! I'm the queen of it. There is a mobile service that you ring and hold your phone to a speaker when the song is playing and they'll text you the name of it. glad to hear the show went okay (apart from the rugby blokes)...drinking and stages/catwalks don't tend to mix...apart from in karoke bars.

Apparently the guitarist of the band we were playing with fell off the stage at one point too! It started with everyone backstage being obsessed with timing, perfection, health&safety etc, and by the interval everyone was drinking beer, the MC was smoking weed and everyone was blocking the exits. Gotta love it.
That mobile service sounds amazing! If only they could do it with humming.
Procrastination is the root of all evil. Imagine how productive we'd all be without it. Why hasn't evolution ironed it out yet? I'm past caring with my work now. I've got to a stage where I just don't want to do it so I'm just not. I've already had 3 extensions in the last week!

I was thinking.. When you go out, I wonder how many people around you (not including friends and acquaintances) you've seen before but never noticed. How many people around you are just recycled from before, and how many are new people that have never been near you?
Never thought about it til I saw a tall stubbly man with an ipod walk past me in my home town, and then I saw him again 5 days later, 20 miles away and I only noticed him cos he was wearing the same jacket and had the ipod, and was walking towards me like before.
See this is the kind of weird stuff I think about when I've got work to do.

I see my neighbour all the time but that's cos he's a scary stalker freak. I got quite concerned last year cos I'd see him wherever I went, virtually every day. Sometimes when I go to my window he's just standing there at his looking over. Arg! One night we were going out and just as we were getting in the taxi I noticed that he was standing at his window again watching us. That's the kind of person I don't want to keep bumping into. The stubbly man however I didn't mind so much

What's everyone up to? It's been a bit quiet on here this week. I've been busy on a new ebay-related money-making project. Haven't made any money yet. Right, I'm off to my last ever lesson of my 16 years of education. Jeez. Ce-le-brate good times come on!

That's quite cool zara! I haven't been on FR for years. God knows why I even joined straight after sixth form. I got an email on there once, but it was just my mum pissing about.

Ebay really pissed me off in the summer cos I was trying to set up my dad's business on there. It took fecking ages and was really stressful, and then he only went and replied to one of those fraudulent emails. Ended up having to shut down the account I'd spent ages building up.
It's taken me 7 months to get over the annoyance! Just got to wait and see whether my plan goes to plan. It's very time-consuming so probably not the best thing to be launching into in the last weeks of my degree but hey.
