How does the tesco downloading work? Do you have to have a special tesco program for it?
The reason I ask is that I recently bought a single from the virgin download site which meant I first had to download a virgin program. Once I had the single, it wouldn't let me open it in anything other than the virgin player on my PC, and it even locked it so that once it was on my mp3 player I couldn't transfer it anywhere else.
Maybe your situation is similar?

it never said anything on their website or whilst downloading. Don't think it even stated whether it was windowsmedia player or itunes. It downloaded fine. i just don't understand how to verify path or files

Just had a look at tesco downloads and it says they're not compatible with Apple iPod.
These are the system requirements: Windows 98 Second Edition or above Windows Media Player 9 or above If using a digital music player, one that supports Windows Media files with Digital Rights Management encryption (DRM 9 or above)
Is your media player 9 or above? Maybe that's it.

Have you checked your system requirements? I'm sure it's easy to update Windows Media Player. There's still hope, you just won't be able to put it on iTunes by the look of it.

Zara, I use tesco downloads to put music on my I-pod. Download the music to windows media player and then burn this on to a cd, you can then import this cd to i-tunes.
Hope this helps
